It's never nice to be presumptuous and you've never gone so far as to treat a customer badly! we went there with my family and my dogs, where I asked if they could come and I was told yes. (as long as they didn't make any noise) when I wrote to make a new reservation for Easter Monday I was told in an unpleasant manner that my pets were barking all the time. we didn't think (neither I nor my husband) that it was true but I would advise whoever manages the place to communicate that if the dog has vocal cords not to bring it!!! (then have the courage to say it to the customer's face) at this point perhaps my children who were running and playing in the area in front also bothered him since they also have vocal cords and perhaps even noisier than my 5kg miniature poodle! so I recommend the place if you want to eat the ''classic'' pizzoccheri/polenta/braised food but for kindness and adaptability absolutely NOT!
We have this place in mid-October and will definitely be back. Fixed menu at €30 which includes an appetizer, two first courses (we ate pizzoccheri and polenta uggia) and a second course of your choice accompanied by polenta (to which a bottle of wine is added for every 2 people). The walk to get to the farm takes just under an hour and is not very demanding. There are some uphill sections, but all in all it is very pleasant to walk. If you want to eat well, lots of it, spending little and taking a pleasant walk, you're in the right place! There are few seats (20/30 inside and some outside), so it is always advisable to book in advance.
