Hmmm, I don't even know how to describe my (our) impression... So I can't say anything about the food this time, but from the last visits I know that it was very tasty there. So unless the kitchen has changed a lot, I would recommend a visit from that point of view... But now a little tip... We sat there for 2.5 hours. After we had ordered our drinks there and got them quite promptly, no one showed up at our table. From the corner of my eye I saw the waitress at the next table, but we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. When we then decided to order something else, there was no one to be seen. When we then made ourselves "noticeable", we were only told briefly and concisely that it was about to be closed. I thought that was a real shame, but then... The waiter stood on the terrace in the door and then called out to everyone that NOW please go to the checkout because the cafe is now closed. Of course you can do that in a canteen, but I wouldn't have expected something like that in the Altstadtcafe, which is really a great location. Maybe it's better to come to the table individually 10 minutes beforehand and politely point out that you want to close soon. This will take some time, but would be more appropriate... Well, I think I'll try again sometime when I'm in this city again... Until then, have fun Atmosphere: 5
