I have been visiting this restaurant for over 10 years. Usually my family and I leave a few hundred euros there every year (apart from the Covid restriction times), sometimes less, sometimes more, every year. On July 20th, I went there with my six-year-old son for a quick, delicious meal after visiting my wife at the Eppendorf University Hospital. I always choose the Asia Loung veggie, it wasn't as good as usual but it was ok. My wife is from Southeast Asia and the following day, July 21, expressed a desire to eat coconut soup with rice because she has her problems with hospital food. I called Asia Lounge and was told it would be ready for pickup in fifteen minutes. Since I always pay with a debit card, I assumed that this would also be possible. But when I got there in the pouring rain, the dish was ready and I wanted to pay by card, but the waiter, who was not (and rarely) particularly friendly, answered him with the words "Can't do it!" rejected. I have to say that the owner is reasonably friendly, but unfortunately he wasn't there when I went to collect our order. His clerk/waiter was not friendly, I found him to be aggressive despite having been there the day before and at least a couple of times this year. I was in a hurry to get to the hospital and said that I have no other option to pay and I read his aggressive body language and facial expression as there was no other option and went out and had to find another Asian restaurant to pay the to buy the desired soup and rice for my sick wife on a day of seemingly continuous rain. I think we will never visit this restaurant again, although we like the environment and the food, unfortunately. I was really, really angry! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
