Staff is friendly. Philip was our server, nice and efficient. Corey the host was awesome. Only stopped for a quick drink and an app. The tuna tartare was awesome. I’ve never had curry with tuna before, but it was very nicely balanced.Old fashioned drink was awesome.

Love this place! Found Beacon Tavern on a whim and saw good reviews for it, so my friend and I decided to try it. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. I only saw one party of 4-5 inside when I walked to the restroom. But even then, the dining area is large and spacious to help keep the distance. The windows/doors were all open, and there were a good number of tables lined along that section. Patio seating is offered and the tables were all distanced from each other. My friend and I split a salad (heirloom tomato salad), a starter (yellowfin tuna tartare), and a brunch menu item (fish tacos). Huge shoutout to our server, Diego for the recommendations! Heirloom tomato salad is a must. Fresh, light, sweet, and so well balanced with the dill, parsley, and basalmic vinegar. Each tomato has its own unique flavor - one sweeter than the others, one smokier than the others. Diego recommended swapping the goat cheese out for the burrata, and it was most genius thing to do! Yellowfin tuna tartare was a unique dish and I highly recommend it as well. It's special bc of the creative way they add vindaloo to it. I thought it slightly overpowered the tuna at first, but after the second bite you taste a bit more of a balance. The nectarine added a well-rounded flavor and texture to it, though I do wish it were a tad sweeter (but given the season, I get it's not at its prime). The crostini it came with tasted great even on its own too! Fish tacos come two to a plate. The aoli was a tad too salty for my liking, and the tortilla was a bit too firm in my opinion, but aside from that it was great. The fish wasn't smothered in batter like how a lot of places have it, and the kick in the aoli was the perfect flavor finish to dish. Overall service was wonderful. It got chilly and my friend and I asked if they could turn a heat lamp on that was sitting near us. They brought the whole thing over and turned it on for us, which we appreciated so much. Definitely give this place a try if you haven't already, I don't think it would disappoint!
