Food & Service were great and the seating was comfortable --some might not like the tightness of the tables but it is a place meant to be cozy that some may not appreciate but was fine by my birthday lunch party for 6. Have come here a few times and the food never disappoints!! (I personally give it a five star rating as I heavily overweight food and atmosphere).

A Billboard near the 680 and 580 junction in the Walnut Creek for Oakland Restaurant Week spurred me on to make plans to go again this year. I always enjoy the chance to dine in Oakland. Last year S and I went to Bellanico Restaurant and Wine Bar. I did not review it at the time, although most of our meal was on the menu, it seemed like more of an event than a regular dinner. If this restaurant is one you are considering I can recommend going here. I thought that the experience was one of the best Restaurant Week meals I've had. S was not as impressed as I was. I had planned for us to go to lunch, we never got around to going, and I was happy that we ended up going for dinner. The s beautifully plated.food was wonderful. I liked not having to share an appetizer plate; we would have had to share at lunch. On dinner menu we each got our own and there were several different delicious treats to taste. S had lamb and I had pork. I do think his was better than mine. That did not stop me from finishing everything on my plate. I think S thought it was not enough for a main course I thought it was fine. We also enjoyed a dessert. I added the wine flight and S had water. I've had this restaurant bookmarked for a return visit.
