Cajun Depot Grill has proudly been serving Ellijay and patrons of north Georgia since we opened our doors in 2001. We specialize in authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine with a wide variety of dishes and flavors to satisfy the most sophisticated pallet.
Had lunch at the Cajun Depot Grill in Ellijay, Ga. today. Had the catfish Po-Boy sandwich. They served the sandwich on a platter not a plate. This po-boy was huge and it was stuffed with at least 2 if not 3 catfish. The coating on the catdish was light and crispy. The taste was great especilly with the sauce they served with it.
Service was great and cheerful. A tad pricey but worth it (Of course I had the large portion)
While visiting Ellijay we stopped by Cajun Depot Grill for an early dinner. Small, comfortable dining area. The waitress greeted us quickly and kindly. I overheard another guest harping on how amazing the gumbo was so I had to try a cup. He wasn't exaggerating, the gumbo is incredible. I also had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. It comes blackened but I opted to have it grilled and it was delicious! Very creamy and seasoned well. My mom had the shrimp n grits and she loved it! The portions sizes are large and the pricing is fair. Will absolutely return when in the area again.
Oh my GOODNESS! We ate at the Cajun Depot Grill today in Ellijay. The servers were so friendly, attentive, and were genuinely happy to see us. Onto the food. We had an order of Shrimp Jammers. They are shrimp in cream cheese and jalapeno sauce and then lightly breaded and deep fried. They come with an amazing dipping sauce as well. They are the best I've ever had! The mozzarella cheese sticks were also amazing!
