It was about 1pm and it was my first time eating here. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and the corn beef was old and dry, it was about half of an inch thick, dry and old. I looked at the meat and they even gave me (point cut brisket) the rounder part this is the pointy end of the meat. You don't use that part to make a sandwich in a restaurant. The meat was too thick and overcooked or old. No I didn't even complain about it because I should've to tell the cook or whoever prepared my meal how to prepare a Reuben sandwich to look eatable. The waitress was "A" for her service. The corn beef should have been cut thin and fresh. Christine Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Christine. I do apologize that you did not like the Rueben. All I use are corned beef points. I don’t use flats because I like the flavor of the points more so than the flat. We also don’t use sour kraut or straight boiled cabbage, we use our vinegar slaw. All of this could have been told to you if you would have asked and if you didn’t like the thickness of the meat, we would have re-sliced new brisket for you. All you had to do was let the server know. Thanks for giving us a try. More

Great food! Great service! I will say the first waitress we had was not very friendly. We had a large party (11 in our group) and had informed the staff a day ahead of time to find out what, if anything, we needed to do and what time would be best for our group to arrive, especially, since it was on a Friday we had planned to be there. Several of our group arrived early and nothing “special” was done. We were seated at separate tables, across from each other, but we were hoping to all be seated together. So, when our first waitress came to the tables we ask if we could have a couple of chairs to sit at the end of the biggest table and we would all scrunch together in the larger of the two booths. She brought the chairs than never returned. So I proceeded to find her. I found her at the bar chatting. I was very friendly and kindly ask if we could go ahead and place our orders. We ended up getting a different waitress AND she was fantastic! It ended up being a great evening and a great dinner! Thank you COMO Smoke and Fire!
