Food is pretty good. It’s a very cute place! BUT not kid friendly at all. I came here with my son who is almost 2, and they had no booster seat or high chair for him to sit in. He did manage to sit at the table, and did pretty well considering his food was at eye level. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly (no high chairs or booster seats). The chairs also have huge gaps/openings in the back. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Atmosphere: 4

After taking our family Christmas card photo in the area we were in the mood for something special. We saw the reviews and we decided to give Cowbell Kitchen a try. Our first impression of the quaint little cafe was its cute and they had a variety of options from muffins, and French toast to mimosas. The cafe portion of the building where you place your order is very tiny and intimate. There is minimal window bar seating. They do have the option on nice days of sitting outdoors, but for those cooler days Th they provide additional indoor seating across the courtyard. A cute little addition to this house-turned-cafe is another space. Lots of seating options. My only concern that day was the seating and the amount of guests in the room didn't match. It made our visit a bit cramped. As far as the food, we all had French toast, bacon, and eggs. The French toast was light and covered with a delicious apple compote. The service was great! The ladies were kind and welcoming. Since indoor seating could have potentially been an issue that day, I did not get the chance to explore the rest of the building. It mentioned that it had a bookstore upstairs. Anywho, I guess that means we will have to come back again.
