I recently dined at Creekview Restaurant, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. My guest and I initially had different plans but ended up here, and I was drawn in by the restaurant's name. I can't say I paid much attention to the interior, as I immediately requested a table with a view of Ellicott Creek. Eating and sipping drinks while listening to the gentle flow of water outside was a unique and enjoyable experience. The service was noteworthy, with our waiter being kind and attentive throughout the meal. To start, we ordered bruschetta and clams casino as appetizers. The bruschetta had wonderfully crispy bread, though there might have been a tad too many tomatoes for my taste. As for the clams casino, they were good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the bacon. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the angus burger, which came with a side of fries. However, I couldn't help but feel that the bread roll it came in seemed and tasted a bit cheap. I had higher expectations for the bun, and unfortunately, I didn't finish the burger. On the other hand, my guest ordered the baked Mac and cheese with added chicken. While they enjoyed it, they mentioned that the chicken was slightly overcooked and dry. Despite these minor disappointments, I'm willing to give Creekview Restaurant another try. I'm curious to explore their other dishes, and I'm particularly intrigued to visit during the winter to see how the experience differs with the changing seasons. For now, I'll give it a 4 out of 5 stars, but I'm certain that on my next visit, I'll be inclined to give it a solid 5.
