A really great Korean BBQ place! Would love to come again! Been to a few K-BBQs and this is among the most memorable! The meat and food were presented nicely, and the venue was very clean. A good selection of meats, great for a group setting! Was also really pleased with the Sikhye (sweet rice punch), perfect to balance the food! They also offer a wide range of hot foods which includes fried chicken, spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki), and traditional Korean Japchae noodles, in case you get hungry while cooking the meats! The service was really quick, and the staff are quick to clear plates and change the grills. We visited on a Monday evening and it was still busy, so it’s definitely worth booking just to be sure! Pricewise, it’s might seem a little steep ($43.50 per person) but the quality, and all-you-can-eat nature makes it stand out against other K-BBQ places. Parking in front of the venue is limited, but there is free public parking on the opposite side of the road. Takapuna also has decent public transport options. Parking: There’s free parking outside the restaurant. But if it’s full, you can always try parking at the Patuone reserve, or on a side street. First time doing this style of food. It seems odd that we have all this food for as long as you can eat it! We experimented with frying noodles. It didn't go well, avoid that. The meat was tender when cooked to medium rare and you have different protein choices to cook, from beef to sea food. Lamb was very good. Use different plates to carry meat and veges, bring it back to the cooker with some sauces and rice and you can create your own stir fry.
