We had come here for lunch at around 12:30 pm on a Friday as we were shopping at Mapleview Mall. I had settled on the Fig & Brie Chicken Sandwich ($15.00), with a side of regular fries (no extra charge), while my mother had settled on the Chicken Quesadilla ($13.50), with a side of yam fries, which included an extra charge of $1.75; we had both settled on water to drink.
I had asked for mozzarella cheese on my sandwich as opposed to brie, and was glad that they were able to make the substitution. I thought that my sandwich was actually quite good, very tasty and well-put together. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the fries were only lukewarm, not hot (temperature-wise), and the ketchup container in which it came with was very small. I thought that the sandwich though was quite filling, and contained a lot of delicious ingredients.
My mom however wasn’t too impressed with her quesadilla as she said it wasn’t appetizing (this could have been because she had asked for no cheese on it, which may have taken away from the taste itself). Her yam fries were also lukewarm, with only a small container of dipping sauce on the side. Overall, the food was pretty good however, just a few things which could have been improved on.
ATMOSPHERE:
It wasn’t too busy when we had walked-in however, there were quite a number of people coming-in as we were dining. We were sitting in a large booth near the window looking into the mall. It was a bit drafty as the air conditioner was on however, it was tolerable. We did enjoy the look of the restaurant itself, with nice decor lining the walls, and the different set-up of the tables and chairs. It definitely looked like a casual/pub-style restaurant to dine at; perfect for almost all occasions.
SERVICE:
We were served by Kayla C., whom we found to be accommodating from when we had first sat down. When I had asked to have another cheese as opposed to brie on my sandwich, she offered a variety of alternatives, and made us feel comfortable as we were dining, coming by to see how we were doing while we were eating. I was impressed with how professional and kind she was throughout our entire visit, a definite plus!

1 Chicken Quesadilla: $13.50 (Side Of Yam Fries: $1.75) + 1 Fig & Brie Chicken Sandwich: $15.00 = $34.18 (Taxes Included)
WOULD YOU RETURN?
I found the cost of the food items to be a bit high however, I did enjoy the taste of most of the items, and would consider giving other items a try.
