One of the best BBQ spots in Simi Valley! Love this spot! I usually end up going with the Tri Tip Sandwich (the roll is garlic bread) combo that comes with 2 sides and a fountain drink. I got the baked beans and mac & cheese. The meal was absolutely delicious! They have several BBQ sauces here and my favorite is the Whiskey Habanero BBQ. Check this spot out cause it rocks!

Green Acres Market is a small grocery store with a covered patio restaurant. This review is primarily for the restaurant, but will briefly discuss the market. The lot is quite large and has ample parking. The store is relatively small compared to the size of the lot. It is clean. The produce and butcher areas (on the sides) seem to dominate the inside of the store. The restaurant is also relatively small but has a decent amount of seating. We got there at 11:00 for lunch on a Thursday and they were not too busy, but got quite crowded by 12:00. We got the cheese steak sandwich and the chicken Cobb salad. The sandwich was good but a little try on two different visits. The full salad was a good size and had a decent amount of bacon, avocado, and chicken to make it tasty. They provided two sides of dressing which were not a bad quantity for the salad. The people taking the orders were polite. The food came out pretty fast. The menu posted on their website is accurate as of 4-24-2023 and is going to be better than most photos. Tips: (1) restroom is inside the market through sliding doors to the left, then on the back wall on the right side through the double swinging silver doors near the butcher's counter. (2) if your sandwich is a little dry, put some BBQ sauce on it and it will taste great. (3) the smoke from the cooker can get to you in the patio. Either try to sit at the back or eat in your car if it bothers you. (4) mos tof the tables are only good for about 2-4 people, so if you have more, it would probably be more comfortable to get take out and eat at home. The Yelp 4.5 star average is about right. We would recommend trying this place if you are in the mood for BBQ. We will likely return sometime.
