Nestled in the heart of King Street, the Honey Hive is a charming and cozy little spot with welcoming ambiance. Its cute elevated decorations bring a new experience from any other desert spot i've tried. The atmosphere is undoubtedly one of the Honey Hive's standout features.  The combination of cozy seating, warm lighting, and delightful artwork truly elevates the dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. I started my visit with The Jane Goodall. The Honey Hive's beverage menu is quite impressive, offering a wide range of options. Moving on to dessert, I couldn't resist trying their brownie, i'm a sucker for a good hot gooey brownie. While the brownie was undoubtedly good, I found it a tad sweeter/rich than I prefer. However, this might be a personal preference, and those with a strong sweet tooth will likely appreciate it. The portion size was quite generous. On the downside, I must admit that the Honey Hive is a bit on the pricey side, but this is somewhat understandable considering its prime location on King Street. While you might need to dig a little deeper into your pockets to enjoy your time here, the quality of the experience and the unique menu items are worth the occasional indulgence. In conclusion, the Honey Hive is a great option for a special treat on King Street. So, if you're in the mood for something sweet and a little indulgence, don't hesitate to buzz on over to the Honey Hive!

We had a reservation for 11am on Oct 29th. When we showed up we realized they were closed. There was no sign on the window or any mention on their website. Our reservation was never canceled to let us know they’d be closed. Waste of time and poor communication from Honey Hive.

EDIT: Scaling back the scathing-ness of original review. I was hangry and mean and I apologize. My review was unkind and I wrote like some pretentious jerk from Condé Nast. The owner took time to write a heartfelt response, and that means a lot. This is a clearly passionate owner who started with an innovative theme, and executed on a brilliantly designed decor. I like that the cocktails were named for women of local and international renown. But running a restaurant is Hard Work and full of blind spots. With that, things can slip between the cracks, and in short time, even the most fabulous restaurant concepts can go sideways. It seems that's what happened here, but it's not for lack of determination on the part of the owner. My wife and I were invited to join a friend here; our friend had dined at HH in the past, and found their staff to be sensitive to certain dietary needs. On this visit however, there'd been some fundamental changes to the menu and perhaps the training of staff, to the point that our party couldn't eat or drink there. It was disappointing, given what we'd heard. HH is now closing for business. The owner announced this on social media and mused that it's time for a reset and regroup which, in all kindness, is a healthy idea. Some of the blind spots now removed, I think whatever she does next will be brilliant. Atmosphere: 5

We also are in the middle of a huge transition. If I had been there - I would have happily gifted you the mocktail of your choice- unfortunately I was home with a fever. Not sure about your description of a bustling Thursday night on King street- there’s lots of dead nights on that street for everyone - especially when it’s raining. Having said that - I looked up your list of reviews-all 81. Looks like no one is safe , not even McDonald’s. Again, I’m sure we deserved all the jabs and paragraphs. I’m truly sorry you will never be back. I’ll let the staff know to make sure and not over-rule “the chicks”. Thanks Again. The Honey Hive More
