Our group of 5 decided to treat ourselves to lunch here after sending our sons off to Denver Sunday Jan 7/24. To begin with, if you think you are going to sit and watch planes land and take off, you'll be dissapointed. You'll watch the back end of a wing of the terminal. The food was what you would expect from any low end restaurant. The burger meat was a factory patty that I've had at cheap roadside truckstops. The chicken was your classic factory tasteless rubber chicken. The fries were lukewarm McCain style battered fries. The service was minimal at best, having to flag down our server to get additional condiments. Each time our glasses were refilled with water, the server would dribble water across the table. I guess this saves time when wiping the table down for the next customer. The only saving grace to this disaster of a "restaurant" is that we got a 3 hour parking validation. Given the prices, quality and experience, I would never recommend this place. Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We just enjoyed a great meal at the Fairmont YVR Jetside Lounge. There aren't many reviews of this place so we weren't sure what to expect but we ended up having a very good dinner. Even the kids meal we ordered for our daughter was quite good when "kiddie food" is often an afterthought for most restaurants. She was given a delicious piece of salmon over rice with very nice vegetables on the side. Our other entrees were the Cobb salad, poke bowl and burger and all tasted good and were presented well. Prices are a bit on the high side but that's to be expected in the airport. We'll happily come back.
