The products are all delicious and authentic! Thank you for the great kindness of the boss! And as I am originally from Franche-Comté, I agree 1000% because I found the truly unique tastes of Franche-Comté there! Go there with your eyes closed, it's so good and generous!!! Thank you for this warm welcome, representative of the Franche Comtois. A selection of well-sourced, non-industrial products. A hearty raclette, a good green salad, good bread and wonderful Arbois wines. No false note Dider. From the moment we walked into this charming little place it felt like we were at home. Arriving the first evening of our time in Lyon, the owner welcomed us with open arms. He almost couldn’t serve us because they had run out of bread but seeing the despair on our faces he said he’ll figure something out for our meal. Despite us not being fluent in French, the owner took the time to patiently explain each item that was on our board and even got a customer at the restaurant to translate everything for us in English. He custom built the board for us after we stated our preferences and magically conjured up bread for our meal to ensure we had the proper experience. The cured meats and the selection of cheese was so amazing we wanted to go back for more despite our short stay in the city. The hospitality was second to none and if you’re looking for an authentic Bouchon experience run by the most passionate cheese dad you won’t be disappointed by visiting Le Bouchon Comtois!!
