Very unpleasant owner, we were brought a dish not ordered to the table and forced to accept under the pretext that the original dish was no longer available we were forced to accept it without even a commercial gesture on the bill or a free coffee. Extra long service, waiters at the end of their rope and apparently stressed by management. In short, not a pleasant atmosphere for a lunch and cold arrivals, having to ask for everything.... I gave myself a few days off before writing this review of our lunch at Restaurant le Drakkar, a dismal experience. We were greeted by a gentleman who seated us inside and then, at our request, outside. This was the only positive note. The tables were dirty and covered in sand, indicating a lack of hygiene. The waiter, visibly tired, complained to us. The wait for our starters was long. My seafood plate smelled bad, and the other orders were incorrect, with poor quality ingredients. No one was able to finish their plate. The main courses were even worse. My partner's paella was pasta, not rice, and contained the same smoked fish as the starters. Our friend found her Picardy string to be tasteless. My dish of the day, supposed to be leg of lamb, turned into Potjevleesch with a vinegar flavor, accompanied by cold fries. The other guests left their plates almost intact. Our drinks arrived after several reminders. Only the salted butter caramel pancakes, probably industrial, were edible. In conclusion, avoid Restaurant le Drakkar so as not to spoil your meal and your weekend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
