Очень интересный исторический отель практически в 5 минутах ходьбы от Altstadt. Были на выходные с 10 по 11 июня 2017 и до сих пор находимся под впечатлением от гостеприимства и изумительных интерьеров.Отдельно хочется выделить завтраки и ужин. Хотели как пару лет назад отобедать в Le Gourmet со звездой MICHELIN, но не получилось. Решили поужинать в ресторане Mensurstube и не прогадали. Какой мусс из спаржи!!! И, вдобавок, отличное обслуживание.В общем, от чистого сердца рекомендую как отдельную достопримечательность Хайдельберга (можно об этом отеле почитать у Марка Твена) и прекрасную составляющую отпуска.

Hi, we chose to stay at Die Hirschgasse Heidelberg as part of our honeymoon!! Unfortunately, we made a booking mistake (2 nights instead of 1 night), more than one month in advance. The booking was done with an early bird offer. We called the hotel straight away (an hour or so after the booking) - the payment was not yet reserved by the hotel so in principle they could still change it for us, well at least as far as their goodwill is concerned... We asked them if they could amend the booking from 2 nights to 1 night. Under no circumstance this was possible, no cancellation or modification allowed. Even though the payment was not yet reserved, it was not possible they said. We suggested to pay the full price for 1 night instead (so no early bird rate) in order to find a suitable solution for the hotel. Again, not possible. However, suddenly changing the dates was not a problem at all?! We understand that there are boundaries, but for such a so-called high class hotel you would expect the best service in each possible way, especially when you book with them directly and when the payment is not yet processed (we contacted Worldline and they confirmed that no payment has been processed yet, but that only a reservation of the amount was done after our phone call with the hotel and that the cancellation is purely dependent on the (good)will of the hotel - they just need to send a fax to worldline mentioning the transaction number and that's it!). We have visited already so many wonderful hotels in the world, and never did we receive such a service as this one!! For this reason you may well understand our disappointment towards the service of the hotel and that we will discourage our relatives, friends and acquaintances to travel to this hotel and to visit the restaurant. Customer service and goodwill: zero.
