“a certain genius cannot be denied” Perhaps this sentence can better encompass the experience at La Madonnina del Pescatore than any other. On the seafront of Senigallia, a somewhat anonymous outdoor location actually welcomes a room furnished with finesse and sober elegance, capable of being modern, warm and welcoming at the same time. La Cucina is carefree but not without thoughts, technique without technicalities, virtue without virtuosity. The menu “Luca and Moreno. . .. . .Segnali di Fumo” turns out to be mature, fun, modern and decisive in combinations and flavors but at the same time well grounded in the history and tradition of the place thanks to the continuous references to dishes and sauces anchored and suspended without time in the maze of memory. The dishes, mainly based on fish, form a faultless path in a continuous crescendo of amazement and emotions. Smoke that turns into a satisfying and enjoyable roast. Among the dishes that struck me the most for their genius, balance and wonder: - Starfish with pleasantly spicy clam sauce and mezcal cocktail - Memories of a trip to Vietnam: eat and drink grilled oyster, purple cabbage, apple - Carrot, mussel mayonnaise; percebes and purple carrot powder -Chocolate, sea urchins and mandarin granita -The sweet amphora Also not to be missed is his signature dish: fish seasonings; a journey to the dawn of the legend of Moreno Cedroni that offers textures, aromas and textures at the edge of taste.
