It’s been probably about 4 years since I’ve eaten inside but on Saturday night I got a carry out of 2 main meals at a cost of £32.50, a curry/ rice and a satay chow mein. Only half of the curry was eaten and the chow mein was tasteless and far too watery. Our local Chinese takeaway is miles better and costs half what the Mandrain costs. This used to be the best place to go to for a Chinese but it has gone down hill big time. I will not be back and would not recommend. Food: 1 Service: 1

We ordered a meal last night from Mandarin City for home delivery. A special curry and fried rice, a chip, baby bonelss ribs and chicken skewers. We have got deliveries from here lots of times and always been good. Last night however our meal which was delivered quite quickly after i rang in the order was cold. My husband rang and explained what happened and the person on the phone apologised and said they would send another order to replace it. The meal arrived and was hot when plated up but the baby ribs and the chicken kebabs were too hard to cut and were inedible. The curry was not up to the standard we expect from mandarin City. Almost the entire contents of the two meals totalling £60 had to be thrown in the bin. We will not be ordering any more takeaways from here in the future.
