Worst Chicken Marsala I've ever had. Chicken pieces were swimming in grease, and the actual Marsala sauce had very little taste. It looked like someone had poured chicken broth in with the grease, added some mushrooms and decided to call it chicken marsala. The garlic bread that came with the dish was stale and lacking in flavor as well. Absolutely awful, the only reason I ate it at all is because I didn't have enough time to run out and get something ethis was during the work week). I won't patronize Muo Italian Kitchen again, this was a seriously terrible experience. Blech! UPDATE ON 1/24/18: To Denis G, of Mio Italian Kitchen & Vinoteca: I did receive your voicemail when you called, however as my intent in writing the review to begin with was not to get an apologetic free meal, I did not return the call. I ordered from your restaurant while at work using the Foodsby delivery service, with which I'm sure you are familiar. I say this to provide a little more context as you accuse me in your response of 'taking to Yelp and hiding behind a keyboard', and therefore I now will get no free meal or complimentary dessert as an apology. I have added a photo of myself so you now know I'm not 'the guy up the street making up stuff', as you surmised in your response. You are aware that Yelp is a consumer-driven application meant to provide honest feedback about consumers' experiences, are you not? You mention that my review 'just hurt a family business'.....no, sir - your employees on duty that day hurt your business by preparing and sending a worse than subpar meal to me. I stated my honest opinion on my experience with that meal as a paying customer who had a bad experience.....the same as thousands of consumers do every single day on Yelp, for thousands of other businesses. If you don't appreciate my review, then focus on the people making the meal and your QA team that should catch these sort of mistakes before the meal ever leaves the restaurant! Your snippy comments about "hiding behind a screen" only serves to assure that I will NEVER frequent your establishment, and that I will share my first - and now this second experience with you, as the owner - with anyone else who might ask about 'maybe trying someplace new this weekend."
