Fantastic place where the food its just part of a whole unique experience. Great variety of excellent dishes very well conceived according to the regional produces and seasons. The really affordable price of food and beverages at this restaurant doesn't match the high end of the options here available. Their huge selection, from tapas to a la carte dishes, are envision by the chef the night before and each and all of them are thoughtfully presented and served. This is the kind of place that the chef himself will come to your table to check on your choices or to greet you if you are a regular customer. Also here you can ask the waitresses for their wine recommendation. I appreciate this level of customer orientation, something rare to find elsewhere these days. From the dinning room to the terrace or the patio, every environment here is graciously decorated in an eclectic mix that reflects the orientation to details and care that the owners, Luis and Susana, are infusing to their business. Their background music is personally curated by Luis as well. I found this place ideal for a casual lunch or dinner or to impress your friends and family. Their large selection of cocktails, spirits, wine, Spanish and imported beers makes O Rego Gastrobar also a great place just for enjoying life and good company. Don't miss it if you are in the area!

We walked the Camino Inverino late November 2019 and on the night of our 12 year anniversary were so happy to visit O Rego Gastrobar. Of course doing the pilgrimage we're often needing bigger meals at the end of the day. We were going to order several of the tapas options off the menu, but Luis came out from the kitchen and offered us the option of the pilgrim menu we were so happy. We enjoyed a beautiful lentil soup, hake fish, a yummy pudding dessert, and of course wine. We also tried his house made sherry. Everything was delicious! We loved the ambiance, and warmed ourselves by the fireplace. I should say we loved the place so much, we came back for breakfast the next morning. If we had known about Hostal Dimar we would have stayed there too! Luis made us feel so welcomed and at home. We hold wonderful memories of this place, and his food. When in Quiroga this place is a gem and a must visit.
