I’ll start off by saying the food was amazing! But the service was TERRIBLE. The hosts were so rude to all of our party and snippy with us. When we got to our table our server was so rude from the beginning annoyed for us wanting separate checks and a glass of ice. Never checked on us, never gave us refills and over all just uncomfortable to be around. As a first time customer I will never return Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We were on a way home from a trip to Glacier National Park and decided to come back through South Dakota. What we didn't realize was it was bike week and we hadn't made a reservation for lodging. What does that have to do with this review you might ask yourself. Well if we had gotten a room and stayed the night we would have not have been tired and stopped more. We decided to stop one last time before kicking it in and making to home. We started looking on YELP and decided we wanted to stop at a Brewery. We read the reviews and decided to stop in Peoria at Obed & Isaac's for a late lunch early diner. We were both surprised that it was in an old church. How can you turn a church into a brewery? Is there enough room? Well they did it and it was set up really nice. I thought it would be hard to carry on a conversation with all the open area. It wasn't and the decor was really nice, some of the church items were incorporated into it. I had the Stinger Burger. When it was brought to the table I looked at and thought how in the world am I going to eat all of this. Well I did it one bite at a time and it was done just the way I like and ordered it. The side of fries were crispy and tasty. The Nutella poppers were out of this world. Had never even thought about deep frying Nutella but man were they good. The buffalo chicken dip was also very good. Was impressed with the taste and the house made chips. Finally the Strawberry Blonde. After sampling several of the drinks I decided to go with Strawberry Blonde. Great decision it was sweet and delicious. I know for a fact that we will be stopping by the Obed & Isaac's Microbrewery and Eatery in Peoria IL again. I think this will become one of our stops every couple of years when we journey out west. Peoria IL you have a great eatery in your front yard hope you enjoy.
