The tables are kinda dirty and the staff had a bit of an attitude. I got here at 11:10 and the store still isn’t open yet and there are no staff. ( supposed to open at 11am) Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20

Ah, Pepper Lunch - the sizzling hot spot for beef lovers. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Wagyu Pepper Lunch, and while it was definitely edible, it didn't quite set my taste buds on fire. The dish came out on a cast iron sizzler, which was a nice touch, but the lack of variety in ingredients left me wanting more. The rice and corn were fine, but with only a handful of wagyu beef slices, it left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. That being said, the portions were decent, so it's a good option for those looking for a filling meal. And while the service was just average, the sizzle and steam of the dish certainly added to the overall experience. As for the name "Pepper Lunch", I can confirm that there was indeed pepper in the dish. While it did add a bit of flavor, I was hoping for more complexity in the seasoning. Overall, if you're a beef lover looking for a decent meal, Pepper Lunch's Wagyu Pepper Lunch is worth a try. Just don't expect a culinary masterpiece or a wide array of ingredients.

This store is located in the Chatswood Interchange. The Pepper Lunch Express provides fast food mainly of Japanese cuisine. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry with corn and rice, which was great. A lot of the dishes come on sizzling hotplates so be mindful of that. I found the food to be reasonably priced and tasty.Service is variable though.
