First of all, a nice restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and the children had the opportunity to slide and play outside. The menu can be found online, so I looked before the visit to see what was available for me, as someone who eats a diet without animal ingredients. I discovered that I could eat the pasta with tomato sauce and the pasta with spicy tomato-pepper-garlic sauce. As a vegan you're used to not having much choice, so that didn't bother me. My family got their money's worth, the restaurant offers a lot of food that was beautifully presented. The portion size was also good. Well, when I ordered, I asked the waitress whether the onion soup could be made vegan if you left out the cheese. After thinking about it for a moment, she said no and said the base was a broth. So I just ordered the pasta with a spicy sauce and was surprised to find that it was sprinkled with cheese. Unfortunately, that turned out to be unfortunate and I mentioned it to the waitress that I was never asked about the cheese and I also asked about the vegan option. After a short consultation with the boss, she came back and said there was cheese in the sauce too. That annoyed me because it wasn't advertised anywhere and I kindly pointed out to them that I would like pasta with tomato sauce and without cheese and that they should and must change that on the menu, as this also involves allergies and intolerances. She went into the kitchen, came back and told me that the boss said the noodles were out. It was 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Previously I was asked for tagliatelle or rigatoni, I can hardly imagine that after one unsuccessful portion of rigatoni all the pasta would be empty. - Before the weekend. Hard to believe. I wasn't asked for an alternative and was simply ignored. So I didn't eat anything. Super unsympathetic on the part of management. I also work in service and I treated the wait staff very nicely and understandingly, although of course it annoyed me (since I hadn't eaten anything all day). But the fact that no solution was sought, even though I was technically in the right, shows me that, as a vegan, I was not wanted. My family's food looked and tasted very good. Service: 1
