I had an appointment to have dinner with my mother at Fiumicino this afternoon. The first annoyance caused by the guests was the blocked parking options, as no one managed to occupy just one parking space with their car. Finally in the restaurant, we noticed a lot of business, which is why we expected longer waiting times. 10-15 minutes until you get a card is already poor. Again for the first drink and then after about 40 minutes the food. The waitress immediately noticed that there was no cutlery, but didn't think it was necessary to provide it. After 5 minutes my mother got up and made a show of getting it herself. Unfortunately, with my single drink that day, I was almost thirsty by the end of my meal - no one responded to the finger pointing, the waving or the display of empty glasses at the edge of the table. Apparently it was just a lot more fun behind the counter that day than interacting with the guests. We then ordered the bill, quite annoyed, which I also had to tell a second waitress after 10 more minutes. The first one didn't seem to be particularly interested in that either. The only thing that looked strange was when you didn't tip a cent for the oh-so-great service. Yes, the payment with the EC card was accurate to the cent, regardless of whether I was asked three times and suggested that I might have forgotten something. I got the hint - you apparently didn't. Sorry, but if I'm treated like an unwanted guest, there's certainly no reward for it. It's a shame that this restaurant seems to have deteriorated significantly. A few years ago we felt like we were being taken care of because of our generous tips, an extra €10-15 for every great meal and the friendly service. Unfortunately it's all in the past, it's a shame... if you get fewer guests these days due to inflation, at least the experience should be enough to make you want to come back. It will not work like that. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste - salad was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, cordon bleu wasn't hot inside but still tasted good. The quality of the goods delivered to your home depends on the day. - Delivery times are always long compared to the competition. - The pizzas often come with a burnt base, which ruins the taste. - To date, there are no spacers in the boxes for pizzas so that the topping doesn't constantly stick to the lid. The only thing you can rely on is that things are constantly stored on the boxes so that the covering can be pressed together really nicely with the lid. Ordered family pizza and more? You can be sure that someone is waiting at the door with a large box in their hand and the rest of the order in the middle of the lid, nicely pressed in. Bon appetit! - Bruschetta seems to be prepared differently every time and at most every third/fourth order is similar... one time there is a large portion for the money, the other time only a sparse one. Sometimes there are four pieces, neatly topped, the next time just two large slices with lots of lettuce to feast your eyes on but only a sparse tomato with a lonely anchovy on top - there is a constant change between three different types of bread. Only the price is always consistently expensive. It is important to pay attention to consistency here because if you don't want to get something different every time. - I now try to avoid ham in all my orders. Apparently nothing high-quality is used here because I like to bite into hard pieces and the taste isn't particularly good. I actually love ham and cheese with tortellini and the like, but I haven't ordered it here for a long time. - By the way, soups are not for delivery either... the quantity does not correspond to the price asked and the quality also leaves something to be desired. Pro: Lieferando with PayPal and stamp card program.
