Breakfast solid 2.9 / 5.0 - Just meh food with attentive but sloppy service. For breakfast food like this I can just go to a diner. It's quite un-special and lacks flavor. Bacon is basically deep fried to a crisp, eggs & pancakes were basic but fine, everything else was fine. Coffee tastes good but was just seemed like the waiter didn't care, was very rushed (even though they weren't busy) and twice over poured coffee and didn't return to clean it up. Didn't care for the style of the waiter (rushed and disinterested, seemed like he doesn't enjoy job) but the helpers were great. Nice white table clothes and nice setting. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Called Porta Via Beverly Hills today (8/1) @ 1:30 pm PT to take a reservation, and the gentleman that I spoke with was very rude and very disrespectful. I asked to speak with a manager because the gentleman's attitude threw me off. He informed me that the manager was outside, so I asked to wait to speak to him/her. He put me on hold and immediately came right back to the phone posing as such manager. I caught his on to his voice since he didn't try to change the tone or anything. I aid, "hi, are you the manager?" He said YES. I said, "May I ask your name? With hesitation he said Steve. I said thank you, I will be making an online complaint and said have a good day and hung up the phone. My exec frequents this restaurant at least 4 times a month and refers this establishment to many of his colleagues. I have NEVER experienced such brashness especially to a paying customers. All out bad experience to start with and will definitely have my manager rethink his dining choices going forward. Service starts at the door, and I hope this gentleman was not there greeting folks today.

Why don't you have your exec who frequents the restaurant call me directly. The gentleman who you referred to took the reservation and including the request to be seated outside. He did not have time to continue the conversation with you during our busy lunch service, Thank you, Peter (The Owner)
