Lovely hotel which is like a cottage.. The elderly lady in the reception was so nice to us. The view from the room was breathtaking. There is no Breakfast however there is a supermarket (Coop) and other cafes restaurants around the corner. Few minutes away from the metro station. Only complaint I have is there is no elevator and having to carry heavy luggages isnt very convenien. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Absolutely the best place in Zermatt. Just 5 mins away from the Train station and bus stop. Cosy and comfy rooms, quiet and spacious and a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. Only downside was there is no elevator and they don't accept credit cards. The hostess was very warm and welcoming. I would stay again for sure. Walkability: Everything is within a few mins walk in the city. Food & drinks: There is no restaurant or breakfast available. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value

Wow to the worst service & our stay has only begun. It started with an online reservation for one night, soon after we decided to book a second night. Wanting to add it to our reservation instead of booking a second & needing to move rooms we decided to call. ‘Hello do you speak English’ - HANG UP! We called back 5 more times for them to not answer. 10 minutes later we call again. ‘Hello’ - hang up! We were all flabbergasted. Couldn’t believe they wouldn’t even try. We booked a second night online again. Rooms are clean, no boots or skis inside- instead they have a ski room w boot warmers. Shared bathrooms for second two floors. Top floor has private bathrooms. Not sure if all rooms have views of mattherhorn but ours do. There are rooms on the other side of the hotel tho, I couldn’t imagine they do. Nice balconies as well. We go downstairs ready to leave & we check in w the reception to make sure they know we have a second night & to not have to move rooms. They refuse to allow us to speak & instead tell us it’s best to check out. We’ve already paid & don’t want to go anywhere else so we continue to try to tell her that we have a second night booked & paid for. I come in & try saying in German that we have paid for two nights. She then tells me she will call the cops on me. My partner says look I have paid here’s my receipt. She refuses to look & continues to say it’s best to check out as we don’t have a second night & there’s no space. She shows us the room logs. We find our second reservation, different first name same last name. My partner takes out their id & say look same last name. She continues to say no no no it’s best to check out. Finally she understands that we have paid for another night & concedes. Will add another review if more happens but I cannot believe the horrible service. 1. Hang up & refuse phone call 2. Refuse our second night reservation 3. Wants to call cops- albeit she’s the scammer 4. Just overall 0 star service & if we didn’t believe she was the owner we’d complain & suggest a replacement that actually speaks English or another language besides Swiss German as she didn’t understand high German to save her life. Location is great- human service is as if we were less than sh*t Rooms: 4 Service: 1 Location: 4
