I always like to stumble upon a good food truck when strolling LA. So when I'm there, I do as the sun-kissed surfers and bohemian SoCal crew do and grab tacos. After taking my first bite, I was reminded that all I needed was some flaked white fish (fried in a light tempura), corn tortillas, avocado, salsa and slaw after a day at the beach. I spiced it up with some chipotle and a garlic lime mayo. With its proximity to the Mexican border, it is no surprise that the flavors of Mexico are so deeply ingrained in California's food scene. So if you've got a craving for tacos when visiting the Golden State, I highly recommend this food truck for lunch -- catch him in Griffith Park or behind Burbank airport.

Ricky's fish tacos was hyped up to me on several occasions. It was worth all the hype and more, once you get to the food truck you can see all the awards they've earned painted onto the truck. I ordered a fish, and shrimp taco to try both flavors. It was amazing, the seafood itself was cooked perfectly and had a nice crunchy outer texture, with a warm inside blasted with flavor and freshness. The toppings made the taco not just a taco, but a home. The tortilla was very good too, and the salsa they have is worth trying. I smothered the taco in salsa after I tried it. Overall bussin food truck Pros: fresh seafood, amazing toppings, cool concept and employees, quality authentic salsa, perfect crunch Cons: no where to eat, limited menu Would come back again?-Yes (already did)
