This is the real schnitzel paradise!! We were here to end our stay in Worms - and it was a worthy end! Absolutely delicious schnitzel variations, very good starters (there are plenty of others too) and a great selection of drinks. And also very, very nice people behind the counter and in service - what more could you want! We'll be back - and then definitely (!!) on one of the legendary schnitzel buffet days!! ;-) And here's the promised feedback: the rosé-colored fabric ;-) was VERY good! Thank you very much again, we have rarely been treated so kindly as guests and we will think of it often. It was again a very positive experience to have lunch at the Schnitzelhütt. I would love to have the recipe for the wonderful salad dressing, but so far no success. For a company that calls itself schnitzelhütt, you would expect more from the food than we experienced. The staff was extremely friendly, there was nothing to complain about. The schnitzels were a different story. Millimeter thin, not too large in size and quite dry... for a company that seems to profile itself as a schnitzel expert, you would expect it to make an effort to be the best in the area. That was not successful because I have eaten much better schnitzels in many places than here. It wasn't bad, but certainly not special. It is located in a historically beautiful building. The location is excellent and it is spacious. Everything is clean, including the sanitary facilities. What I personally think is another downside is that they allow dogs. That shouldn't be a problem, but close to us were a few ladies with a dog that barked at everything and everyone. Behind us another couple with a dog responded again. The highlight was that one of the ladies finally gave her dog plenty of space to walk around with us and other guests. I don't hate animals, but I'm not really a dog lover. This behavior, actually from these guys because their dogs can't actually do much about it, strikes me as ridiculous. Not everyone likes your dog sniffing around happily while eating. That's fine if you have a policy of allowing animals, but a few rules of conduct for owners who can't think of that themselves would be useful. All in all, we expected more from the name of the restaurant than we experienced. Once again, it was not the service staff's fault, but the quality of the food could quickly improve. Oh yes, you can choose between two sizes of schnitzel, but by that they mean 1 or 2 not too large schnitzels that could also be a bit thicker and less dry. About the price: That's the other side......it's not terribly expensive either and that makes it completely 'acceptable', but next time we're in the area again, I'll pass. Wheelchair accessibility: You have to go up a flight of stairs, so as far as I could see, you can forget it with a wheelchair Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
