It snowed heavily on Wednesday, and there were few cars and few people on the road, but the order was still there. After sending my daughter to the airport, I went to this market when I came back and had a bowl of hot soup. There was actually pear (water chestnut) in the soup. I loved it so much. I am so glad The Soup Meister's Nephew is carrying on Ralph's legacy. I have noticed the price increases, but that's to be expected given recent inflation. I will say, I do find the frozen/fridge soups to be portioned inconsistently. I understand that they are portioned by hand but for the price, I expect that it comes with a somewhat consistent amount of ingredients - especially when it comes to the meat and noodles. I got two large containers of frozen Italian wedding soup - one was packed with noodles, meatballs, celery/onion and was enough for two full portions. The second was so disappointing and seriously lacking in the noodle/veg department. I ended up only getting one hearty portion because it was mostly broth. Thanks for the review Mich! We are working diligently to provide a consistent, quality product, and have enforced more strict portioning control. Hope the next round of soups purchased display that.
