The food is typically good, grease as you would expect from a burger joint. But it's slow, they make it to order so the line is a wait but you get hot food. Although the food is always amazing at steak 'n shake, the employees make it hard to enjoy any meal regardless of whether it's in the drive-thru, dining in, or ordering it to be delivered. It's really a shame and I feel they'd have much more business if they would hire better staff, and make extreme changes to the length of time people are made to wait for their food. I believe the only reason steak and shake is still operating today is because their food and shakes are delicious. If it wasn't for That reason My family and I would never return, however We would go a lot more often if it wasn't for the fact that you can wait an hour plus for a meal to be delivered to the table. I started to try the drive-thru in hopes that the service would be faster, unfortunately the people this establishment chooses to hire do not seem to care about anybody's schedule. I'm not sure what the reason for their extremely slow and unfriendly service is. However, considering the fact that I have tried many different Steak 'n Shakes in many different areas, the food is the only thing I always enjoy Other than that I continue to find myself disappointed in everything else the restaurant has to offer. Parking: There are plenty of spaces to park in. The establishment is located right off the road and it is very easy to turn into their driveway. Their drive-thru is normally backed up and can sometimes begin the way of cars either trying to enter or exit the parking lot Kid-friendliness: I'd say for the most part the servers are friendly to children. However, that does of course depend on the location. Wheelchair accessibility: They have room for people who are in wheelchairs to fit comfortably. They are not normally very busy due to the fact that they have a ridiculously long wait time. I don't believe it would be hard for anybody who requires a table to accommodate a wheelchair to find space to sit regardless of the time of day.
