Tried twice this week to try this place, but I've had a lot of issues . Along with orders dropping out of their system, both times food allergy requests weren't honored. First night I dined in. After about an hour wait, I checked in and found my order was missing in the system. Confirmed payment went through, but unfortunately the kitchen was closing at that point. They apologized and worked out they would try and get one last order out. Very appreciative! Unfortunately, the order that did come out wasn't mine and was covered in sesame (food allergy I had asked about previously). They were apologetic and promptly refunded me. Their food still looks amazing, so I thought I'd try again tonight, but similar results. After a takeout order, we got home to find out order was correct, except with added sesame. We had let them know several times when ordering about the sesame allergy, but unfortunately the King Salmon Donburi was inedible for me. Thankfully the roll was still sesame free, but I was very uneasy trying it given the circumstances. Very kind and understanding front end staff! But there seems to be a huge communication issue between them and the kitchen. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$30–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

We got Sushi Soldier to cater an event with only a couple days notice, and they were amazing! Got so many compliments on the food! Very accommodating and great quality! Thank you!
