An amazing place near the Titanic museum. I wish there were more places with so much soul like this in the world, it would be better. Thank you!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The Dock Cafe in the Titanic Quarter of Belfast has one of the coolest concepts of any cafe I've visited in the world! The cafe, associated with a local church, is run by volunteers and offers drinks and pastries on a donation basis, so you simply order what you want and pay as you wish on your way out. I got the Mystery Mix tea and the Belfast Brew coffee, along with a brown apple cinnamon scone and a square of Fifteen, a Northern Irish dessert made of 15 digestive biscuits, 15 marshmallows, 15 glace cherries, condensed milk, and desiccated coconut. The drinks, pastries, and laid-back atmosphere of the cafe made it a nice place to relax and chat. The biggest highlight, however, was talking with the friendly, hospitable volunteers, who made this truly a welcoming place for everyone!
