The hubby and I’s First visit since before Covid. We tried a few weeks ago on a Saturday around 530 but didn’t make a reservation and found out it was a 45 minute wait So we made a reservation for 630 on a Tuesday night in the lounge in front of the fire (Which is great timing as soon as it gets warm with the air conditioner on the fireplace will not be on) Our server, Riley was attentive. We started with the classic Caesar salad, which I’m happy to say has not changed and is still fantastic super garlic as ever. Appetizer was Fried calamari with spicy dipping sauce, And a few surprises of fried red pepper and fried jalapeño Main course was sirloin steak, medium rare and was cooked absolutely perfectly, Since we had the classic that came with salad, it also arrives with mushrooms, broccoli, and the sweetest red beats I’ve ever ever had. The server was friendly, the atmosphere was really nice. The food is usually very consistent but something seemed off. The apps took a while to come, the manager comped them, which is why the service was 5 star. We got the NY peppercorn and rib steak. We asked for medium rare but the rib steak was tough, almost rare. Apps were decent but nothing was in line with how the keg usually is.
