I wandered by the booth at the Carlsbad farmer's market and was asked if I'd like to try their tea. I mentioned that since moving to Southern California, I miss my health food co-op, where I could purchase bulk organic teas. I'd been buying tea bags here, so I wasn't used to spending a lot on tea. The woman staffing the booth assured me that their pre-mixed bags of tea would go a long way. I didn't believe it, but after making about 15 cups of tea, I still have plenty left and there's just enough sweet herbs and plants that I don't want any sweetener for it.

Every city needs a tea place like The Loose Leaf! There's parking in front of the building that I believe has a specific time limit. I chatted with the person at the register and after telling me about the different types of teas, I went with Energize (which I definitely needed after my flight). Even though it didn't have any caffeine, it gave me the energy I needed. I also ordered a flat white and it was tasty! They sell their teas for a reasonable price and I love that they do their own mixes.

No wonder this place has five stars they are phenomenal not only are they very educated on their teas but they make you feel very welcome and at home super easy to talk to. I was having some stomach pain and was suggested a few different options that I ended up mixing together I didn't even know that there were some teas that were better to avoid in order to help soothe my upset stomach. I can't wait to come back and try something else because my order was super delicious I'm sure that everything else is incredible too. Also you can smell the different teas if you ask. There are so many options here you will not get tired do yourself a favor and make a trip here.
