My wife's friends came into town for the Taylor Swift concert and were looking for a fun place to eat before the concert (writing this review a couple months late). The New Spot on Polk popped up and we're so glad it did. Very fun, cozy brunch vibes with very good food. Service was kind as well. Plenty of savory/sweet options. I had the biscuits and gravy, my wife had the French toast, and her friends had a variety of other things. Felt like between all of us we ordered the entire menu; everything was fantastic, but personally liked my biscuits and gravy the best. The potatoes were delicious and spiced perfectly. Would certainly come back.

The New Spot on Polk is a newer spot on bustling Polk Street. The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere with its cozy booths and dim lighting. The menu is small but diverse with a focus on American classics. I ordered the burger, which was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, the perfect side to accompany the burger. They also offer a great selection of beers and cocktails, perfect for an after-work drink or a night out with friends. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or brunch. The brunch menu is also worth trying with their delicious pancakes and breakfast burritos. The New Spot on Polk is definitely a spot to check out for a low-key night out or a weekend brunch with friends. Overall, I had a great experience at The New Spot on Polk and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty meal in a low-key atmosphere.

The new spot on Polk a has the best oatmeal in San Francisco! Every bowl made fresh. No big warm pot. The egg dishes are also awesome. 5 stars for sure.
