Wonderful Christmas dinner! We went for a quick drink and ended up ordering 2 bottles of wine and half the food menu. Absolutely the best place in Bali for wine selection and authentic European experience. To the ones who complain about prices - you can easily go and drink a Bintang for 20k if you would like. This place offers quality old world wines and YES the experience is well worth the price. Staff and owner are exceptional. Good knowledge about every single wine and what to pair it with. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to escape the chaos that is Canggu. It brings joy knowing there is a welcoming venue offering such delightful service in the area. Would recommend 100% and will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went here with my friend because we were curious about the new wine place. When we arrived, there was only one other customer, so we decided to sit on the bar. The reason was because I would like to ask some questions about wine and the glasses, I hoped the connoiseur would be willing to impart his knowledge with us. And he did! He introduced himself as Lio. He came from Alicante, Spain. Since I like sparkling, we ordered a bottle of Champagne. Because of it, Lio asked if we would like to try a sabrage by ourself. Sabrage is the art of opening a champagne bottle with a dagger (hence the name). My friend took the offer. It was quite a nice experience. Since we also had a dinner in Sa’Mesa previously, we received a coupon for a free bubbles and appetizers. And Lio gave us a free bottle of sparkling wine with a complete cheeseboard! Very generous! Thank you Sa’Mesa and Sommelier!! During our time there, we asked a lot of questions. Lio answered our questions patiently and he gave a very thorough explanation, i.e. on why there are many different types of glasses, the difference between sparkling wine and champagne, his experiences working as a sommelier, etc. Since he discovered my preference for something sweet, he gave me a taste of port wine. He also let us hold their most expensive bottle, which is a Dom Perignon. We were quite nervous actually. Overall, I had a very good impression from the service and the knowledge of Lio. It’s definitely a must visit place when you are in Bali. Don’t hesitate to sit at the bar and talk to the sommelier in charge. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
