This place is definitely worth a visit!! Sushi is one of our favorite but hard to find a good place. This place checks all the boxes. Food- I think my rolls were Spider, Hibachi beef and Miru Mountain and they were sooooo good! My fiancee ordered a bento box and the meat was very good and tender. The service was great, the staff is very welcoming and attentive. The presentation was beautiful and price is very reasonable. The atmosphere is nothing pretentious, is on the darker side, more light would be nice. We will definitely be back! Enough parking right in front of the restaurant, so that is a plus! My wife and I were looking for a sushi place, googled sushi locations near us, and this place popped up. We thought we would try it, and when we pulled up, we thought that we have found another gem. The restaurant itself was inviting with a nice ambiance. However, the service wasn't up to par. We were seated, but the waitress who smelled like smoke took forever and a day to take our order. Due to the long wait along with how the service was going, we decided to leave. We headed to New Zealand Cafe which turned out to being the better choice. We received our food in a matter of minutes after our arrival, and the food there was amazing. Not sure that we will be revisiting Umami Sushi & Grill again. Too bad we didn't even get to taste the food, but customer service is everything.
