Fabulous rooftop restaurant in the White Town enabling you to enjoy the strong evening breeze from the ocean. Great French menu as well. The Ratatouille was especially good as also the French onion soup, although both could have been served a bit warmer. Highly recommended! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

I wish to warn travellers that please do not book here at Villa Krish. I have just returned after a stay with 3 of my friends and it was very poorly managed. We were allocated dingy rooms with no windows or ventilation. Only source of light were 2 lamps. So for the electric kettle we had to switch plugs everytime! And make tea in a dimly lighted room. Lumpy, uncomfortable and creaking beds. On the second day my friend slipped and fell in the bathroom as the mat had not been replaced. Why remove them if replacement is unavailable beats me! No towels either. There was no one to guide us on medical stores or hospitals. It was raining heavily and the network was very poor. (Or we could have googled everything ourselves) My friend has now been diagnosed with a fracture and her ankle is in a cast. To add insult to injury No apology or follow up of guest wellbeing either. Most insensitive and callous behaviour. We travel extensively and I have yet to encounter such unprofessional behaviour. The breakfast too was served on the terrace which can only be accessed partly by a lift and rest by a flight of stairs. The terrace was not completely covered causing us to get wet by the time we sat down for breakfast. Thankfully we didn't catch a cold. It was also very noisy with people banging doors and staff talking very loudly so if you wish to spend a quiet vacation do look elsewhere. Pondicherry is a beautiful place and I'm sure one will find better options for accomodation. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3
