Zaida restaurant with its rotisserie grill and the Shawarma stand outside is an immediate draw for hungry by passers.
It is a compact place with a strictly functional decor but what really matters is the quality and taste of the food.
I really wasn't disappointed on that score for sure as future events proved.
Starters:
Honey Roasted chicken- boneless pieces of Chinese style chicken coated in a thick sweet and spicy sauce topped with sesame seeds. Delicious and a must try dish
Grill chicken - juicy rotisserie chicken served with mint chutney ,garlic mayo and kuboos.
Crab Lollipop- - the deep fried starter which everyone loves
Main course :
Chicken Kizhil Parotta - parotta sandwiched with minced chicken and soaked in gravy.
Loved the taste and the softness of the dish
Chicken Fried Rice - yes I do order this favourite at times but that is a true test of a restaurant's mettle.
Here the dish was packed with meat and had a good flavour.
Chicken Mughlai Briyani - a unique preparation which looked almost like a tawa pulao topped with boneless chicken 65 pieces but I was pleasantly surprised to see the nuances of dum flavour and the texture from the chopped nuts and the finely scrambled eggs mixed in .
Finally how could I miss the trending Shawarma . This was sheer delight with the roll totally stiffed with the creamy chicken mixture.
Infact I saw so many customers order that so iam sure it has a lot of fans
The main pros of this restaurant are the wide variety of dishes offered, competitive pricing, excellent taste , quantity and above all passionate owners who are present on site to oversee the proceedings.
