becks TAVERN® is North Creek’s newest German/American restaurant and bar located right next to the Gore Mountain Lodge, which was renovated by the Parobeck family in 2013.
Becks tavern offers great table side service to its customers that is unsurpassed anywhere in the north country. The yurt hosts bands daily and you can now ski from the hudson ski bowl to Becks through the connector trail off of the Schaefer trail. Big Air Dave has spoken...
A new restaurant in the north country is a big deal - so we couldn't wait to go check out Becks Tavern. My family has been coming to the Gore Mountain area for 20 years because of the unparalleled outdoor opportunities. I'm happy to say that Beck's would be the perfect place for dinner or drinks after a day of hiking, skiing, swimming, rafting, or any of the other great activities available in the Adirondacks. The building has a nordic feel, and is decorated in what I can only call steampunk apres ski. The bar area is large, light filled and friendly. The dining areas have a cozier feel due to the lower ceilings. Selection of beer and wines were impressive. And the food was great! My husband and I had the bratwurst platter which was good. My sister in law - a Manhattanite who loves good food - said the salmon was among the best she had ever had. Little touches like the crispy kale made the dish. And I LOVED the grilled iceberg lettuce salad. My only suggestion to Becks would be to continue the locally sourced theme to include a selection of great mustards to go with the Bratwurst and other sausage items on the menu. Becks will definitely be on our go to list on those days when we are tired and hungry after North Country adventures.
Exceptional experience at Becks tavern ! High quality food , generous portions and friendly competent service. Save room for the rhubarb pie and homemade ice cream. Will be back soon.
