A coastal city of South Africa, renowned for its magnificent views and stunning nature, Cape Town is the capital of the country, boasting a fantastic geographical setting at the foot of Table Mountain. Founded in far 1652 at the northern end of the Cape Peninsula, the city is embraced by the chilly beauty of the Atlantic Ocean arctic waters in the west and the warmer Indian Ocean in the east, representing one of the world’s greatest water front drives, where the two oceans meet. In December and January, when summer is in full swing, Cape Town welcomes loads of tourists with amazing outdoor festivals, captivating events, and sure enough, impressive Christmas festivities. Even far from Santa’s workshop, the city organizes delightful Christmas markets, has its own Santa’s village at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, and features top-notch dining venues and wine estates offering delicious Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus. The restaurants below proudly present a range of excellent dining experiences and joyous holiday meals, as well as create an unforgettable festive atmosphere under the scorching sun.
