Barcelona is incomparable with any other city in the world. The face of the Catalonian capital has been defined once and forever by the visionary of Art Nouveau architecture, Antoni Gaudi, and his masterpieces. Sagrada Familia, a magnificent monument to Gaudi’s extraordinary talent, will leave you speechless. Casa Batllo and Park Güell will transfer you into a fantasy world full of colorful mosaics and the most uniquely shaped architecture. And if you are just starting to explore this metropolis on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, your journey will surely begin somewhere near La Rambla – a pedestrian street in the very heart of the city. It has so many curious things stretching over 1.2 kilometers: a unique flea market, dozens of cozy cafes, beautiful dessert shops with the tastiest ice cream, shining souvenir shops, street musicians and artists, etc. And if you dive into the narrow streets in the Gothic District, you will find a lovely welcoming place called Caj Chai Teashop – an establishment that is entirely devoted to the art of tea ceremonies and tea culture worldwide.

Cooking directions

Ingredients

  • 170ml mineral water
  • 10ml milk (or 15ml vegetable milk)
  • 4.5 grams Chai Mix Organic
  • 10 grams sugar (or a tablespoon of honey, agave etc.)
  • Cinnamon powder
  • 1 Piece Candied Ginger

Step 1. Start by boiling the mineral water.

Step 2. When the water starts boiling, add the Chai Mix and sugar. Let it boil for at least 4 minutes. After turning off the fire, leave the tea covered for 3 more minutes.

Step 3. Using a fine strainer, pour the tea into the cup. Add milk and sugar (or honey).

Step 4. Add a dash of cinnamon and garnish with a slice of candied ginger.

Tip: If you prefer a spicier tea, muddle two slices of fresh ginger and boil them with tea leaves.
