This my first time trying Ethiopian food and it was really good. I only gave 3 stars in this section because I hate to eat with my hands and by the end the bread was very moist from the sauce. **PLEASE** don't let desire to have clean hands keep you from trying this place. Truth is I would eat here again and definitely eat Ethiopian again even tho that means getting my hands dirty...lol. the staff was friendly and attentive and helpful and choosing great option for my first experience. African Village Ethiopian Restaurant provided a much-needed break from the usual dining options in San Antonio.
