Do not even attempt to go here after the races. 2 weeks in a row we were turned away. The first time we got here at 10 and were told the grills were already cleaned (they close at 11). The next day I called and the person I talked to said he would have this taken care of. Last night we went in again and arrived at 9:35 and after taking our drink order we were once again told they would not serve us as it was to close to closing time. We went to Applebee's instead and had funaminnal service and food. There were others that were going to stop but after finding out we were turned away again they went to Applebee's also. You lost out on a lot of return business. It is very sad that you turn away customers 1-1/2 hours before closing time. Service: 1

Great service and quick food! They brought our bill out, then came back and let us know about a deal—buy two drinks and an entrée, and get a second entrée for just $1. Honestly surprised it’s not busier. If you’re in the area, definitely stop in for breakfast. Only small downsides were some water spots on the silverware and the bacon wasn’t the best, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. 10/10 would recommend. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My experience Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. was like a breath of fresh air. My friend and I were greeted by the waiter named Chewy who was very friendly and accommodating which really made us feel welcomed. As I looked around the place was immaculately clean and bright which impressive!. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming and the food was phenomenal. We ordered nachos and I'm here to tell you those were the best nachos I think I've ever tasted. To my understanding, they were homemade and deep fried which made them even more special and delicious! The price was unbelievably affordable and I think they deserve the support of the community because we need to keep them in this area. The chef even came out and greeted us, he did an extraordinary job as well. I will be going back and telling my friends about my wonderful experience at Denny's and Rice Lake Wisconsin!
