Updated visit: they’re open after a month of renovations! The restaurant now has ample booth seating, new clean floors, and additional decor. Menu prices have gone up slightly after the renovations, however, food quality has remained the same great taste! My go to dish is always the bún nem nướng, thịt nướng, cháo tôm (vermicelli with grilled meatballs and sugarcane shrimp) which is now $16. I highly recommend eating here if you’re in Toronto Chinatown and craving delicious Vietnamese dishes! ***** Consistent! I’ve been coming here for the last decade and food and service and portion sizes have always been consistent. You’ll also see that menu items have not been inflated as other Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto. Fresh rolls are only $6, and you can never go wrong with a durian milkshake for $6.5! I recently had the opportunity to dine at Pho Xe Lua Vietnamese Cuisine on a Saturday evening for dinner, and I must say it was a delightful experience.
