The Cake Mix Academy

• The Cake Mix Academy is dedicated to educating children in the skills of Culinary & Pastry Arts.
  Our curriculum is based on a hands-on approach where Instructors use repetition to reinforce our simple step-by-step recipes. Children who participate in our classes gain enough knowledge & practical skills to take on a range of tasks in the kitchen with confidence. The children have fun learning, make new friends, and leave feeling a sense of accomplishment through a creative outlet

• Christmas Break The Cake Mix - Christmas Cake Pop Extravaganza

  Admission is $10.00
  Participants will create their version of Reindeer Cake Pops to usher in the Christmas holiday. Each little Cake Popper will take home whatever they create. Refreshments & Snacks provided. When: Sat, Dec. 17th at 12pm - 3pm; Where: The Cake Mix - 5956 hwy 21 s - Rincon, GA 31326
• Around The World In 30 Desserts
  In this series we focus on a range of delicious desserts from around the world. The lessons focus on the origin of the dessert, other uses for the ingredients, & how to produce the dessert on thier own. Each little participant will take home what they create. • X-Mas Break The Cake Mix - Buttercream Dreams

  Admission is $10.00
  Participants will learn to make Vanilla Buttercream frosting from scratch and create their version of a snowman smashcake (6" Vanilla) to usher in the Christmas holiday. • The process of preparing for your party starts days in advance and our schedule is in high demand.
  The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable

• Items such as intricacy of decoration, gluten/sugar/or soy free options, carved or square cake shapes, colored cake icing, stick on decorations, candles etc. are available for additional cost.

• As The Cake Mix Academy has developed we have streamlined the baking and pastry decorating processes so that the children learn to we teach are able to, in turn, teach others.

• Science In The Kitchen
  This series focuses on the scientific processes involved with many of the foods we eat everyday. Lessons include the history of the ingredients we use, chemical and allergic reactions, and much more.​ Here are a few:
• Solar Baking- How to Make a Solar Oven & Bake in it.
• Crystals- How to make Rock Candy
• Yeast- How to train and eat fungus (Bake a loaf of bread)
• Liquid Polymer- How to make edible water bottles
• How to make a Soda Sherbert (Fizzy Sherbert)
• In addition, we teach a wide range of healthy Bake & No Bake desserts and dishes.
  Our list of recipes include Dairy free, Eggless, Sugar free, and Gluten free dishes
