All alcohol served in our establishment is purchased from licensed distributors and complies with DC alcohol regulations. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.Regarding drink pricing, our menu prices are clearly listed, and different margaritas, modifications, taxes, and gratuities can affect the final amount charged. If there was confusion regarding a specific transaction, we would have gladly reviewed the receipt with you during your visit.The claim that a staff member intentionally took $2 is also concerning. Our team works hard to provide great service, and if there was confusion about a payment, we would have gladly addressed it with management while you were there.Could our hookah service have been faster that night? Possibly. We always look for ways to improve. But the accusations about fake liquor and dishonest staff are simply not reflective of who we are or how we operate.We wish you the best and encourage future guests to come experience 1942 for themselves.
