If you are looking for a cozy bar this is a great place. The cocktails menu is bigger than the food menu and there are many well crafted cocktails to try. It's more expensive than normal bars from the area but it's worth to visit

My friend and I have been trying out all the pubs and bars within the Waterloo area for a while now. 21 Fir Whiskey Bar + Kitchen is definitely one among the top of our lists. It is a little pricey for students, although the cocktails are absolutely worth the price. My friend tried the Monte Carlo and I had the Pot of Gold. And I must say that our palates were so satisfied. Monte Carlo is a rye whiskey based cocktail which is more on the spirit side with a flavor of orange, and Pot of Gold is an irish whiskey based cocktail which is more on the frothy side and is perfect blended with lime and ginger. This is a perfect place to relax at with a drink or two and some good company or even alone after a tiring weekend, especially if you love jazz
