The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because the atmosphere was nice and the food was actually pretty good. My boyfriend and I stopped in before a movie for drinks and appetizers. The bar was full, so we were seated in a booth. Our server, Kelly K., seemed pleasant at first, but her attitude noticeably changed once she realized we were only ordering appetizers to share. I ordered the Blueberry Squeeze Margarita, which is described as having blueberry, pomegranate, lemon, and lime flavors. Unfortunately, all I could taste was salt, chili, and tequila. It wasn't fruity at all. When my boyfriend politely asked if it could be replaced, Kelly gave us a dirty look and seemed annoyed by the request. When she brought the replacement drink, she dropped it off with a sarcastic comment and immediately walked away. Later, when our food arrived, she made another unnecessary remark about there being "plenty to share." After that, she never checked back to see if the replacement drink was better or if we were enjoying our meal. I completely understand that not every drink will be everyone's favorite, but good service means trying to make it right when a customer is unhappy. Instead, we felt judged for ordering appetizers and treated like an inconvenience. The food was good, but the service ensured we probably won't be back. I had a bit of a mixed experience at 30Hop. The food and drinks were honestly amazing, but the service at the start was really rough. It took quite a while for anyone to acknowledge our table—I almost left before even getting a glass of water. I understand that things happen, and our server was very apologetic, explaining there were issues with not having his computer, but it still left a bad first impression. That said, once the food arrived, everything turned around. I had the BBQ mac and cheese, my fiancé got the nachos, and my daughter had the salmon bowl—everything was delicious. I was on the fence about coming back because of the slow start, but the manager came over and apologized as well, which I really appreciated. Because of that, I’m willing to give 30Hop another chance. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
